Our Mission
Houston Improvement Project (HIP)’s mission is to make Houston’s community and learning spaces better through volunteer and contractor-led renovation projects. Currently, we work with one Houston-based nonprofit annually - they must own their property and need an interior or exterior renovation that benefits their clients, students or vulnerable populations.
Spring: Application Open to Houston Nonprofits
Summer: Review, Site Visit, Finalist Selected
Summer-Fall: Planning and Fundraising
